Seneca Valley, others win big in Friday night football

There were several big games across the county on Friday night:

Seneca Valley clinched a playoff berth with a 57-6 victory over visiting Shaler.

Karns City remained unbeaten by steamrolling Moniteau, 44-10,

Butler fumbled its way to a 28-13 loss to Pine-Richland.

Jayden Renfrew rushed for 222 yards as Knock whitewashed Ambridge, 48-0.

Grove City saw its unbeaten record end at the hands of Meadville, 48-14.

Mars took care of business in a Northwest Nine Conference game, defeating Indiana, 49-14.

Freeport was eliminated from playoff contention with a 44-7 loss to Keystone Oaks.

Slippery Rock struggled in a 48-7 loss to Wilmington.

Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic came out on the short of the stick in a 28-14 loss to South Side.

Union/A-C Valley suffered its fifth straight loss, falling to Clarion, 54-0.
