Marianne Cornetti, the internationally recognized Verdi mezzo-soprano who hails from Butler County, will perform in a recital called “From Verdi to Broadway” at 3 p.m. Oct. 30 at Valley High School, New Kensington. The Knoch High School graduate will sing a variety of works from composers in the worlds of opera and musical theater with some spirituals thrown into the mix.
