Spooky stories at Stone HouseBRADY TWP — The historic Old Stone House will be the site of “Spooky Stories” and Halloween festivities for all ages from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28.The event will include interactive storytelling, historical reenactments, and a variety of festive activities, such as face painting, an apple press demonstration, candle dipping, and folk music.Jennings Environmental Education Center will present an exhibit about bats.Admission is $5.The Old Stone House is at the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528. Halloween film, concert plannedFOXBURG — Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts will present a Halloween concert with Tom Roberts and Dale Abraham and a silent movie starring Clara Bow beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at Lincoln Hall, 42 S. ‘Dog Loves Books’ to playJACKSON TWP — The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Children’s Theater Series presents “Dog Loves Books” at area locations including Seneca Valley Intermediate High School.The show at Seneca Valley will begin at 2 p.m. Nov. 20.“Dog Loves Books” is based on Louise Yates’ best seller that celebrates the satisfaction that comes from sharing books.The 55-minute performance is recommended for ages 3 to 10.
