One person was injured in a crash in Adams Township.

Police said the driver of a Ford F-150 ran into the back of a UPS delivery truck around 1:45 p.m. on Union Church Road.

Township assistant police chief Bob Scanlon said the driver of the Ford was taken to UPMC in Cranberry via ambulance for injuries.

The Ford sustained major front damage while the delivery truck had minor rear end damage.

Traffic on both directions of the road was halted until shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Adams Area Fire District and Callery Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene.
