Myers' tally gives KC boys 1-0 win

Freeport soccer knocked from unbeaten ranks

Karns City's Spenser Myers scored in the 61st minute to account for the game's lone goal as the Gremlins earned a 1-0 boys soccer win over previously unbeaten Freeport (11-1-1) at Diehl Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Jake Weckerly made seven saves in net to preserve the shutout for KC (13-0).
