Kayla and Jacob Robertson

Kayla Marie Newman and Jacob Matthew Robertson, both of Erie, were united in marriage Sept. 3 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot. The Rev. Michael DeMartinis of Erie officiated. A reception followed at the Atrium in Prospect.

The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Annett Newman of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are Terry and Dorothy Robertson of Medina, Ohio.

The maid of honor was Jessica Duffy of Cranberry Township. Bridesmaids included Jaclyn Cox of Venetia, Marisa Jendrasik of Erie, Briana Houlihan of Pittsburgh, Jessica Terza of North Versailles and Becky Carrier of Sarver.

The flower girls were Isabella Yuhouse of Cranberry Township and Kileigh Davison of Evans City.

Performing the duties of best man was Negovan Jovanovich of Worthington, Ohio. Ushers included Matthew Schorr of Columbus, Ohio, Gregory Newman II of Sarver, Johnny Armstrong of Medina, Kyle Gillihan of Lakewood, Ohio, and Dane Puterbaugh of Lakewood.

The ring bearers were Austen Lape of Natrona Heights and Jaxon Adams of Lordstown, Ohio.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Freeport High School and a 2014 graduate of Robert Morris University.

She is an associate actuary for Erie Insurance in Erie.

The bridegroom graduated from Medina High School in 2009 and from Ohio University in 2013.

He is an associate actuary for Erie Insurance in Erie.

Following a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple is making their home in Erie.
