Cranberry man faces charges
CRANBERRY TWP — A township man faces multiple charges after allegedly starting a fight at a restaurant and driving drunk in June.
Joseph Germanoski, 29, was charged Tuesday by township police with DUI, simple assault and harassment.
Germanoski on the night of June 18 was allegedly bothering a group of females at Quaker Steak and Lube asking if they wanted to “do coke,” according to court records.
After one woman’s boyfriend asked him to leave them alone, Germanoski allegedly punched him in the head with a closed fist.
The man was treated by Cranberry Township EMS for a laceration on his forehead, but was not transported to the hospital.
After patrons broke up the fight, Germanoski allegedly left on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was then pulled over by an officer on Freedom Road who was responding to the fight.
He allegedly failed field sobriety tests, but did not submit to a blood test. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in district court Nov. 4.
