Jean Sutton of Evans City will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house for all her family and friends Saturday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 330 E. Main St., Evans City.

She was born Oct. 1, 1926, on her maternal grandparents’ farm in Homer City, the daughter of Orie and Roxie Sutton.

She has 18 nieces and nephews and 35 grandnieces and nephews, who are her children.

Sutton was a member of the accounting/payroll department at Armco where she retired in July 1986, after 41 years of service.

She is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the church’s Missionary Circle and Sunday School. She also is a member of the Evans City Historical Society.

She previously was a member of two bowling leagues, two card clubs, Business and Professional Women, and a golf league. She delivered Meals on Wheels for many years.

She has traveled to more than 65 countries.
