Sports store to open Fri.

CENTER TWP — The new Dunham’s Sports store location at the Clearview Mall has set its grand re-opening weekend for 9 a.m. Friday, the company said Monday in a press release.

The store is relocating from its former home at 602 Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler Township to the 49,133-square-foot store at Clearview that formerly housed Dick’s Sporting Goods. Dunham’s hours at its new location will be 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

In its release, the company said that relocating would allow the retailer — a national chain with 28 locations in Pennsylvania — to “better serve the sporting goods needs of Butler.” The store offers active and casual sports apparel and footwear, as well as outdoor and hunting apparel. It will include an outdoor and hunting department, a golf shop and a fitness department.

The company also announced a series of special events and giveaways as part of its re-opening weekend.
