Michael P. Jesteadt

Michael P. Jesteadt, 43, of Prospect passed away unexpectedly Monday Sept. 12, 2016.

Mike was a self-employed carpenter. He also was the co-owner with his father of Ghost Riders in Butler.

He loved his family, friends, puppies, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Jesteadt; his sons, Blake and Dylan; his mother, Ruth Schreffler; his brother, Keith (Connie) Nicklas; his sister, Timmi (Scott) Longdon; his step sisters, Tina and Tammy Schreffler; and his nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his father and best friend William Jesteadt, and by his sister Rebecca Jesteadt.

Jesteadt — A memorial service for Mike Jesteadt of Prospect who died Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Meridian U.P. Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Butler.

There will be a luncheon following for all family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund and to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America: www.adaa.org.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Jay Bryan Funeral Home in Prospect.
