Sandra Lee Deere, 70, of Cranberry Township passed away Monday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Sept. 21, 1945, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late John Ralph and Florence Greer Fleeson.

Sandy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Known for her great sense of humor, she was a devout wife, mother, “Nana” and great-grandma. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Paul J. Deere, whom she married Aug. 4, 1969; her children, Cara (Steve) Hedzik, Christopher Deere and Rachel (Ben) Keller; her stepchildren, Cecilia Parry and Steven Deere; her grandchildren, Paul, Amber, Ashlyn and Aubrey Hedzik, Jacqueline Deere, Jonas, Gryffin, Porter, Adeline and Holden Keller; her great-grandchild, Xavier Happ; two sisters, Shirley (Sam) Toney and Betty King; and numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her stepchildren, Paul and Dennis Deere; and her brother, Ralph “Sonny” Fleeson.

DEERE — The family of Sandra Lee Deere, who died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Bishop Bernd Scanlan officiating.The dedication of the grave will follow the funeral service at the Pinewood Memorial Gardens.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
