Butler Township PoliceWednesday — Police charged Robin M. Dunmire, 47, of Butler with running over another person’s foot in connection with a drunken-driving arrest last month on New Castle Road.Dunmire is accused of driving over the 33-year-old victim’s foot about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 28 outside the Looney Toones tavern. Police were called and found her a short time later. The victim was not injured.In addition to driving under the influence, Dunmire is charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment, careless driving and reckless driving.Wednesday — Alexandra M. Reeher, 27, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, was charged with trying to hide her identity from police following a traffic stop at 6:39 p.m. Sept. 14 at Pierce Avenue and South Duffy Road.Reeher is charged with obstructing the administration of law, identity theft, making a false report to police, providing false identification to police, driving with a suspended license, driving without a license and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Grove City PoliceTuesday — Police charged Zachery A. Hill, 20, of Shippenville, Clarion County, with having suspected marijuana and alcohol over the weekend at Grove City College.Hill was caught Sunday with the bud and booze as well as drug contraband at Alumni Hall. He is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, underage possession of alcohol and six counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.Monday — Stephen P. Cope, 29, of Mercer was arrested on charges he sold five rings that were stolen between April and August from a home on Cedar Avenue. He is accused of selling the rings to a precious metal buyer in Sharon.Cope was arraigned on a charge of receiving stolen property and placed in the Mercer County Jail on $5,000 bail.

State Police, Butler7:30 a.m. Wednesday — A Cambria County teenager was arrested after he allegedly threw a cup of urine at a staff member at the Summit Academy reform school on Herman Road in Summit Township.The 17-year-old Johnstown boy, who police did not identify, is charged in juvenile court with assault by a prisoner and harassment. Police also did not identify the victim, a 25-year-old Saxonburg man.Wednesday — Andrei M. Latour, 55, of Templeton, Armstrong County, was arrested on charges he broke the law when he tried to buy two guns earlier this year at Sportsman’s Supply in Summit Township.Police said Latour lied about his criminal record on the application to buy a Mossberg 500 shotgun and Heritage Rough Rider revolver on April 27 at the store.The defendant was arraigned on charges of unlawfully attempting to buy a firearm, a felony. Additionally, he is charged with a misdemeanor charge of making a false statement to authorities. He was released on his own recognizance following arraignmentTuesday — Police obtained an arrest warrant for Caitland N. Ringler, 20, of Slippery Rock Township stemming from a weekend domestic dispute during which she allegedly attacked a man with a pan and ceramic pot at her home on Ralston Road.The alleged victim, Michael J. Scott, suffered a head injury that required hospital treatment in the altercation Saturday.When troopers got to the home, Ringler was gone and Scott was seated on the front steps bleeding from the head and face. He told police that the suspect had struck him with the pan and pot, according to court documents.Police said they found a broken pot on the kitchen floor.Scott tried to hold Ringler until police got there, documents said, but she got away and ran into nearby woods.A Slippery Rock EMS crew was called and tended to Scott before he was taken to Grove City Medical Center, where he received stitches to close his head wound.Ringler is charged with simple assault and harassment.12:21 a.m. Sunday — Christopher Lee Matthews, 34, of Petrolia was arrested after he allegedly attacked 38-year-old Mary Matthews of Petrolia during a family gathering at a home on Chicora Road in Summit Township.Police said Christopher Matthews punched the victim in the face. A police report noted alcohol was a factor in the altercation.Christopher Matthews was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.

State Police, Kittanning11:31 a.m. Tuesday — Rachel K. Mills, 64, of Cowansville lost control of her car and crashed into several trees along Watersonville Road just east of Route 268 in Sugarcreek Township. She told police the wreck happened when she swerved to avoid a deer on the road.Police cited Mills for disregarding traffic lanes.11:30 a.m. Monday — Cars driven by Gena Z. Staney, 71, of Vandergrift and Corile M. Russo, 50, of Ford City collided on Route 66 south at Route 422 in Manor Township. Police cited Staney for a stop sign violation.8:02 p.m. Friday — Lois J. Rusz, 83, of Freeport was hurt in a two-vehicle collision on the Route 28 south on-ramp at Route 422 in East Franklin Township. Rusz, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin with minor injuries.The other driver, Jamie K. McAfee, 39, of Kittanning, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and driving without insurance.

State Police, WashingtonAug. 29 — Police obtained a felony arrest warrant for a suspected thief accused in a fraud scheme last month that victimized 25-year-old Candace Corvi of Butler.The suspect, Paul Gitau Kiruki, 26, of Westover, W.Va., allegedly sold the woman a 2010 Chrysler Sebring on Aug. 18 after he fraudulently marked a salvage certificate as a clean title. Police said he also placed a license plate on the salvage vehicle that he sold to Corvi.Kiruki is charged with felony counts of theft by deception and receiving stolen property. Additionally, he is charged with fraudulent use of a license plate, allowing the illegal use of a license plate and driving an unregistered vehicle.
