Butler City Council

The following motions made at Tuesday’s Butler City Council meeting will be voted on by the council at its meeting Thursday evening.

A motion to approve 2017 Minimum Municipal Obligations for the city’s three pensions plans as follows: $149,190 for the Firefighters Pension Plan, $175,281 for the Police Pension Plan and $28,472 for the Employees Pension Plan.

A motion to accept the bid from Bauer Excavating for $10,400 for the 2016 Sullivan Run Stream Cleaning Project.

A motion to dedicate the shelter at the Institute Hill Playground as “The Victor Rikal, Sr. Memorial Shelter,” after a Vietnam veteran who was killed in action.

A motion to pay Gateway Engineers $9,660 for the engineering of the Centre City Parking Garage.

A motion to pay Thomas Construction $358,851 for the construction of the Centre City Parking Garage.

A motion to pay Merrit Electrical Group $22,459 for its work on the Centre City Parking Garage.

A motion to pay Renos Bros. Inc. $3,726 for its work on the Centre City Parking Garage.

A motion to accept a bid from Nathan Contracting for $14,529 for the McKean Street Parking Garage rehabilitation.
