Transformer down in Center Township
CENTER TWP — Up to 500 customers are without power, and a portion of Route 38 is closed after a one-vehicle accident this morning.
The car knocked over a pole that had transformers on it, according to Paul Patten, assistant chief of the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
One person was injured and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital by ambulance. The extent of her injuries was not known.
A portion of Route 38 is closed near Glenwood Way.
West Penn Power estimates power will be restored to the affected customers by 1 p.m.
