Smoke, but no fire, in Petrolia
PETROLIA — Three fire departments responded to a call at 8:25 p.m. Monday.
Homeowners smelled smoke caused by an overloaded circuit in the basement of the residence at 126 Forrest St. in Petrolia.
Fire departments from Petrolia, Chicora and Bruin responded to prevent a potential fire. According to fire personnel, some electrical wiring will need to be replaced, but that is the extent of the damage.
