Bulbs, tubers topic of talkSAXONBURG — The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., will have a Master Gardener “Bulbs, Tubers and Rhizomes” presentation at 6 p.m. Sept. 13.Master Gardener Karen Beachem will explain the differences between true bulbs and many other “not bulbs.”

Oktoberfest flea market scheduledEVANS CITY — St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church, 417 E. Main St., will have a flea market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15, 16 and 17 in conjunction with the Evans City Oktoberfest.The market will be at the church’s old hall behind the church.To donate items for the sale, deliver them to the upper hall.
