A day without power

Our turmoil was over. Our daughter called at 10 a.m. I related our scary situation to her.

We were such babies and I told her that we’re fine now.

As I write everything is quiet. Water is plentiful. As we ate our evening meal of cold cuts we can only remember good health, good luck, good everything.

We apologize for our lack of patience. But we had our son’s love and interest in our well-being. Our grandson represented vigor, understanding and everything good.

I want to stress that water is very vital and shouldn’t be taken for granted.

The secret? A generator.
