Back-to-School Nights planned

The Butler School District will have Back-to-Schools Night next week for parents and students to visit the schools and meet the staff.

Back-to-School Nights for Connoquenessing, Emily Brittain, McQuistion, Northwest and Summit elementary schools are all from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Monday at the respective schools.

Center Township Elementary School will have two different nights. Students in kindergarten, second and fourth grade along with students in Mrs. Crilley’s classroom can visit from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Monday.

Students in first and third grade and those in Mrs. Metzler’s class can visit from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Shuttle buses will be available for the Center Township Back-to-School Nights. A shuttle from Broad Street will depart at 5:55 p.m. and return at 7:15 p.m. A shuttle from Crossfire will depart at 5:55 p.m. and run every 15 minutes.

Butler Middle School’s event will be separated by grade. Students going into fifth grade will have their night from 5 to 6:15 p.m. Monday, with optional information sessions in the auditorium at 5:30 or 6 p.m.

Sixth grade students and parents can visit the middle school from 5 to 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, with information sessions at 5:30 and 6 p.m.
