McConnells Mill State Park, Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County off Route 422, will have a program on “Monster Trees in the Mill” from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday. Meet at the Breakneck Bridge parking area. The covered bridge over Slippery Rock Creek will be closed beginning Mondayfor renovations. The closure is expected to last 60 days.
