Grace and Ralph Scherder

Ralph and Grace Scherder of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Scherder married the former Grace Eagan Aug. 25, 1951, at Corpus Christi Church in Pittsburgh.

They have three children, Janet Hoffmann of Verona, Ralph Scherder Jr. of Butler and Joseph Scherder of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Scherder retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Mrs. Scherder retired from McDonald’s Restaurant.

The Scherders are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
