A Kelly-Trump rift?

In May, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly confirmed his support for Donald Trump for the Republican nomination for president.

It seems reasonable: both are white guys raised in very comfortable means. Both huff and puff with pleasurable thoughts of themselves. Neither served in the armed forces though of that appropriate age during many of the various wars the government has committed warriors and treasure.

Knowing that, both are proud chicken hawks supporting using the blood of young Americans to execute their loud expertise on international events. On international relations, both have used foreign manufacture to increase his wealth.

There does, however, seem to be some conflict in the promised goals between the two.

After his election to Congress, Kelly spent his freshman year in the House of Representatives lobbying for passage of KORUS, the trade agreement between The United States and South Korea. According to a report issued by Economic Policy Institute, Kelly’s work has resulted in growing trade deficits and the loss of more than 75,000 U.S. jobs the first three years alone.

If you listen to Trump, one of the treaties he has promised to renegotiate or eliminate is KORUS. There seems to be some disagreement since I have not read where Kelly has changed his opinion or willingness to surrender his personal benefits accrued from KORUS.

Because of this apparent conflict, it would be interesting to know of any dark greasy agreements between these two titans of snake oil economics.
