Township Line Road to close for weeksBUTLER TWP — Township officials are notifying motorists and residents that a portion of Township Line Road will be closed for several weeks starting on Monday.Township Line Road between Dutchtown Road and Old Plank Road will be closed for three or four weeks, as workers replace stormwater pipe and construct a head wall. Detours will be posted to reroute traffic via Hampton Court.

Butler Twp. takes part in Night OutBUTLER TWP — Butler Township will be participating in the National Association of Town Watch’s 33rd annual National Night Out on Tuesday.The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the parking lot of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church education center, 105 Kohler Avenue, Lyndora.It will include township police officers and commissioners walking up Bessemer Avenue and, time permitting, Penn Avenue, to meet with neighborhood residents.This is the second year the township has participating in the nationwide event.
