Perry O’Malley, the fired executive director of the Butler County Housing and Redevelopment Authority gets his job back per a ruling by the Pennsylvania Civil Service Commission.

Under the ruling issued July 26, the authority did not establish just cause for O’Malley’s March 2015 dismissal.

He is owed most of the wages and seniority he would have earned in the interim.

However, the commission also determined O’Malley should receive a 30-day suspension on his record, which would reduce the owed wages.
