Butler Township Police5:11 p.m. July 21 — A vehicle driven by Dawn Polito, 54, of Evans City struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Carolyn Romberger, 53, of Butler on New Castle Road. Polito had unspecified injuries.6:14 p.m. July 16 — Zachary Lowe, 23, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass at the Walmart off New Castle Road, which he was prohibited from entering.10:11 a.m. July 15 — A vehicle driven by Brittany Lambling, 24, of Wexford struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Lee Leiner, 69, of Renfrew on Whitestown Road before allegedly fleeing the scene. Lambling was charged with accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, duty to give information and render aid, and not driving at safe speeds.

State Police, Butler3:55 a.m. Wednesday — Police are searching for a burglar who forcibly entered 762 Route 422 in East Butler and took several items. The suspect is described as a white male, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, between 180 and 200 pounds, and between 25 and 35 years old. He was dressed in a camouflage hunting style jacket, camouflage pants and dark boots.He is believed to be driving a four-wheeler, green or camouflage-colored with a rear loading rack. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.3:26 a.m. Wednesday — Eric M. Jolly, 33, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township.

State Police, ClarionWednesday — Melody Simpson of Rimersburg reported concrete blocks being thrown into a pool at 7294 Route 68 in Madison Township between July 20 and 27. The pool liner was damaged. Anyone with information is asked to call 814-226-1710.

State Police, Kittanning8:30 a.m. Tuesday — An unknown vehicle struck a house number pole and a tree along Bunker Hill Road. The vehicle was damaged on the front passenger side and is missing part of the front bumper and headlight assembly.

State Police, Franklin1:51 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Douglas Coley, 54, of Worcester, Mass., hit a deer on Interstate 80 in Clintonville.
