Town Crier

Adams Township supervisors on Monday:

Approved the addition of five buildings to Mars-Evans City Self Storage on Mars-Evans City Road. Four buildings will be 10,000 square feet and one building 7,200 square feet. As a condition of approval, the applicants must complete the buffer between the existing buildings and the road as well as the buffer required for the new buildings.

Gave final approval for the third phase at Fulton Crossing off Three Degree Road near MHY Family Services. That phase will include 19 lots that are all 100 feet wide and a half-acre in size.

Approved the launching of the fireworks on Community Day from the same spot they have been launched in the past. Because a neighbor complained about debris left on his property last year as a result of the fireworks, a cleanup crew will be provided for neighboring properties if necessary, and a fire truck from the Adams Area Fire District will be at the fireworks launch. The fireworks will be launched from a different part of the park beginning in 2017.
