Motorcyclist injured in crash with truck
MIDDLESEX TWP — An unidentified motorcyclist was injured this afternoon in a crash at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 228.
The motorcyclist was traveling south on Route 8 and collided with a flat-bed trailer in the intersection. The flat-bed was headed west on Route 228.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, and traffic is down to one lane southbound on Route 8.
