Martha A. “Martie” Pohrer, 80, of Harmony passed away Thursday in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.

Martie was born May 30, 1936, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Fred Rogers and Elsie Zinsmeister Rogers.

She worked as a secretary since graduating from Zelienople High School with taking time off to raise two children. Martie retired in 2015 from Nicklas, King, McConahy & Co. appraisers of Cranberry Township at age 79.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and camping. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Richard, and her daughter, Cheryl, both of Harmony.

In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by one son, Jay.

POHRER — A memorial Mass of Christian burial for Martha A. “Martie” Pohrer, who died Thursday, July 21, 2016, will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.
