Keeping their cool
Scott Longdon sprays the hose as Butler firefighters arrived to wet down kids in the Island section of the city. The activity offered some relief from Saturday's 90-degree temperatures. With an average dew point in the upper 60s, the humidity made the weather feel very uncomfortable as if the temperature were in the mid- to upper-90s. Despite the storms that rolled through Sunday, the hot, humid weather continued Sunday and into today.
