Adams home run lifts Cards in 16th
ST. LOUIS — Former Slippery Rock University standout Matt Adams homered with one out in the bottom of the 16th inning Friday night, giving the St. Louis Cardinals a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The homer was Adams' 11th of the season.
