It is so hard to believe that it has been three years since we last saw your smile or heard your laugh. I had my own notion of grief, I thought it was a sad time that follows the death of someone you love, and you had to push through it to get to the other side. But I am learning there is no other side. There is no pushing through. But rather there is Absorption, Adjustment and Acceptance. Grief is not something that you complete, but something you endure.
We miss you every day. You must be so happy to see Mom and Dad. They missed you boys so much. Tim - Scott, Mom, Dad and Uncle Kenny Dean are also with you now. Us girls are trying to make it trough. I miss you so much and wish you were here. This feels like a bad, bad dream. See you on the other side, brother.
