Carrie Ann Kelley

Carrie Ann Kelley, 28, of Belle Vernon, Pa., and formerly of Karns City, passed away unexpectedly at her home Thursday.

Born Carrie Ann Roberts on Sept. 12, 1987, to Debbie Casson and the late George Roberts. Carrie was adopted by the Rev. Jeffrey Kelley and his wife, Susan, on Nov. 12, 2003.

Carrie attended high school at both Karns City Area High School and Ringgold High School in Monongahela, Pa.

Carrie was well known for her ability to braid and style all hair types. She loved to listen to music and dance around with her kids. She loved her children and family. She had a beautiful, loving smile and a bubbling sense of humor. She was an independent thinker and support to those whom she loved. Carrie was good-natured, loving and kind.

Carrie is survived by her children, Zaiden Christopher, Zailynn Rae and Zakiyah Rayne; her birth mother; her adoptive parents; her brothers, George Roberts of Monessen, Pa., David Casson and his wife, Sabrina, of Windor, Ga., Chris Kelley of Charleroi, Pa., Jamie Kelley and his wife, Michelle, of Denton, Md., Jason Kelley and his wife, Sally, of Graysonville, Md., Sean Kelley and his fiancé, Ashley Carouthers, of Hilliards, and Shayne Kelley and Jadyn Kelley of Barre, Vt.; her sisters, Andrea Burd and her husband, Andrew, of Saxonburg, Angela Texter and her husband, Jared, of Pleasantville, Pa., Rachel Kelley, and Gracie Kelley of Barre, Vt.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carrie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Agnes Casson; a maternal aunt, Helen Helmentollar; and her grandparents, Paul and JoAnne Bowser.

KELLEY — Friends and family of Carrie Ann Kelley, who died Thursday, July 21, 2016, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hile Funeral Home at 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora.Another visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday with a funeral service to follow from the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Brent McMasters, pastor of Six Points Church of God of Prophecy, officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for monetary donations to defray the cost of funeral expenses.
