Catherine Ruth Aggas Heeney, 96, of Ohioville, Pa., formerly of Butler, died June 9, 2016, in Friendship Ridge, Beaver, Pa.

Born June 13, 1919, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late James and Bessie Bartley Aggas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira David Heeney; her sisters, Nellie Pearl Sabol, Beulah Sarvey, Lizzie Belle Reed and Evelyn Maul; and brothers, William Warren, Charles Clifford and David Presley Aggas.

Catherine is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

HEENEY — Private internment of Catherine Ruth Aggas Heeney, who died Thursday, June 9, 2016, took place in Highland Cemetery, Ohioville.Memorial services celebrating her life will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Church of the Nazarene, 423 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, PA. The Rev. Donald W. MacNeil, pastor, will officiate.The family is being served by the D.L. Williams Funeral Home, 848 Midland Avenue, Midland, PA 15059.
