Pedestrian hit by car in Buffalo

BUFFALO TWP - A Saxonburg woman was injured this afternoon after being struck by a car in the Buffalo Plaza.

Pamela Mason, 61, had left UPMC Centers for Rehab Services and was walking to her vehicle at about 1:15 p.m.

Still in the parking area, she was struck by a 2003 Ford SUV driven by Donna Freehling, 74, of Tarentum.

Mason, who was conscious and alert when emergency responders arrived, was taken by ambulance to Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Buffalo Township Police said the incident has been ruled an accident, and no charges will be filed.
