10:09 p.m. July 14 — Aijalon Lejuan Baldwin, 26, of Wisconsin was arrested on two outstanding warrants from that state after police responded to a trespass call at 107 Second Ave.

Baldwin was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation & Parole for a parole violation of a burglary conviction and the Kenosha Police in Wisconsin for obstructing an officer and possession of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).

The owner of the residence, who was not home, called police to have Baldwin and a woman he was arguing with removed from the home.

1:02 a.m. July 11 — A car driven by Jeanie Maffei, 61, of Butler hit a legally parked truck owned by Bob Alexander of West Sunbury on Third Street.

11:42 p.m. Thursday — Steven Ayala, 22, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on West Cunningham Street in Butler.

3 p.m. Tuesday — Joseph Waibel, 38, of Slippery Rock was charged with simple assault after police responded to a trespass call to 2816 William Flinn Highway in Brady Township.

9:15 p.m. Wednesday — A motorcycle driven by John Sumner, 70, of Ellwood City hit a deer on state Route 488 in Perry Township before falling onto its left side and sliding into a guard rail. The driver was taken by Portersville EMS to Ellwood City Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

4:34 a.m. Thursday — Tiesha Renee Jones, 28, of White Plains, N.Y., was arrested for receiving stolen property, driving under the influence and drug violations after the vehicle she was driving wrecked on Interstate 80 in Irwin Township. The vehicle was stolen from Cleveland.

11 a.m. Thursday — The theft of $700 in cash from a bedroom dresser drawer at a Cokain Road residence in Irwin Township between July 16 and 21 was reported.
