State rep changes office times,/b>ZELIENOPLE — The satellite office of state Rep. Jim Marshall, R-14th, in the borough is transitioning to being open for only appointments beginning Friday. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays.“My staff and I have assessed the needs of the community and the effectiveness of our current setup, and believe that switching to appointment-based operations will be more convenient and accommodating for those we serve,” Marshall said in a news release.The satellite office will continue to provide the same state-related services.For more information or to make an appointment, call 724-452-1055. The office is in the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau, 310 E. Grandview Ave.Marshall also has offices in Chippewa and Midland.Man gets fish hook stuck in eyeMUDDY CREEK TWP — A man fishing in a boat near the Bear Run boat launch at Moraine State Park Wednesday afternoon was flown by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital after getting a fishing hook stuck in one of his eyes.The man was fishing with his daughter at the time of the medical emergency.Park manager Dustin Drew said park rangers and Portersville EMS were on the scene just after noon assisting the man, whose identity wasn’t available.Emergency dispatchers said a medical helicopter was dispatched to the boat launch at about 12:30 p.m. Drew said the man’s condition was not life threatening.
