Florence 'Jeanne' Hanst

Florence I. “Jeanne” Hanst of Mars, formerly of Cranberry, Venango County, celebrated her 95th birthday with a family dinner at Breakneck Tavern in Mars.

The former Florence Stewart was born June 8, 1921, in Cranberry. She married the late Willis “Lefty” Hanst on Nov. 24, 1945, in Cranberry.

She has one child, Karyl Lynn Vislay of Mars.

She also has three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is a hair stylist and homemaker.
