Alameda offers events this weekThe Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host events this week at Alameda Park in Butler Township.The free Family Summer Concert Series will feature the jazz group Eugene and the Nightcrawlers at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.The free Family Fun program “Oh Deer” will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Carousel Shelter. It is limited to 50 participants who will join the park naturalist to look for deer, weather permitting. No reservations are required.The free Outdoor Discovery Series will offer the DCNR presentation “Firefly” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Carousel Shelter.Alameda Story Adventures for children 6 and younger will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Rotary Shelter.
