Church hosts bake saleThere will be a bake sale from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 25 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church hall, 127 Franklin St.Pies, cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls and bread will be on sale.

Alameda offers events this weekThe Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host events this week at Alameda Park in Butler Township.The free Family Summer Concert Series will feature the jazz group Eugene and the Nightcrawlers at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.The free Family Fun program “Oh Deer” will be from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Carousel Shelter. It is limited to 50 participants who will join the park naturalist to look for deer, weather permitting. No reservations are required.The free Outdoor Discovery Series will offer the DCNR presentation “Firefly” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Carousel Shelter.Alameda Story Adventures for children 6 and younger will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Rotary Shelter. This program is free. It will continue on Thursdays through the summer. No registration is required.For details, call parks and recreation at 724-284-5383.

Keller family reunion slatedThe Anthony T. and Theresa Keller family reunion will begin at 1 p.m., July 3 at the Masonic Shelter in Alameda Park. Computer classes planned at libraryCRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will offer free computer classes this summer.Classes, which last about 90 minutes to two hours, will be at 9 a.m. on Saturdays in the library computer lab.
