Council said Tuesday that it would take these actions at its meeting tonight:

Take out a loan for $210,000 for street paving, storm sewer repairs and bridge repairs.

Pay Shields Asphalt Paving $45,267 for the 2016 curb ramp replacement and paving project.

Accept a bid from Troy Jay Construction for $18,328 to repair the West Penn Street Bridge.

Approve payment to A.P. Wise Excavating for $6,100 for the demolition of the building at 511 Polk St.

Award the contract for the demolition of the building at 300-302 N. Washington St. to Ken Reilly Contracting for $9,240.

Install a stop sign at East Fulton Street at the intersection of North Monroe Street on a 90-day trial basis.
