June and Kenneth Griffiths

Kenneth and June Griffiths of Butler celebrated 70 years of marriage with an open house for friends and family.

Griffiths married the former June Day on June 15, 1946, in Indiana, Pa.

They have one daughter, Sandra Swank of Butler.

Griffiths retired from Witco Chemical (Sonneborn) in Petrolia after 44 years of service.

He is a World War II Army veteran who served as a medic.

He is a 62-year member of the Gideons International and a member of the Chicora American Legion.

Mrs. Griffiths worked at Butler Memorial Hospital and Magnetics in East Butler.

She is a member of the Gideons International Auxiliary.

The Griffithses attend Whitestown Road Baptist Church in Butler.
