Cypher 65th anniversary
Wayne R. and Evelyn Marie Cypher of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner and card shower. Cards may be sent to them at 201 Cherokee Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
Cypher married the former Evelyn Marie Oesterling on June 29, 1951, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler.
They have three children, Robert W. (Gina) Cypher of Woodstock, Va., Wesley L. (Deanna) Cypher of Evans City and Russell C. (Mary) Cypher of Marietta, Ga.
They also have 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Cypher retired from Armco and was a mechanical engineer.
He is a member of Gideons International.
Mrs. Cypher retired from teaching in the Butler School District. She then taught at St. Luke Lutheran School in Cabot.
The Cyphers are members of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.
