KC, Moniteau get KSAC honors

Karns City and Moniteau picked up a number of MVP awards as the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference announced its 2016 spring sports all-star teams.

Moniteau pitcher Kennedy DeMatteis was named KSAC softball MVP. The Warriors’ Gabriella Stewart and Maura Kimmel were named girls track MVP and field events MVP, respectively.

Karns City’s Collin Dunmyre shared the boys track MVP honor with Wyatt Hetrick of Redbank Valley. The Gremlins’ Chandler Turner was named Field events MVP.

Sam Leadbetter of Clarion-Limestone was named baseball MVP.
