R. Harold “Cork” Sutton

R. Harold “Cork” Sutton, 72, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of West Sunbury, passed away Wednesday at Park Health Nursing Home in Ohio.

Born Nov. 14, 1943, in Euclid, Pa., he was a son of the late Harold D. and Bernice (Williams) Sutton.

He worked 36 years as a foundry superintendent for Cooper Energy Services until its closing.

He was a member of St. Alphonsus Parish, St. Louis Church in West Sunbury.

He had coached for Little League and Pony League baseball for many years. He was an avid baseball and softball player who enjoyed golfing and the Steelers. He was especially, a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Mary (DiBiase) Sutton, who he married Aug. 28, 1965; three children, Harold D. (Joy) Sutton of Butler, Matthew T. (Annie) Sutton of Forestville and Christine M. (Chad) Brahler of St. Clairsville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brooke and Cade, Alexis and Audrey and Abigail and Carson; his sister, Beverley (Carl) Reeder of Euclid, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Wilber Morrow.

SUTTON — There will be no public visitation for R. Harold “Cork” Sutton, who died Wednesday, May 25, 2016.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Friday at St. Alphonsus Parish, St. Louis Church at 202 West State St. West Sunbury, PA. 16061. Interment will follow at West Sunbury Union Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
