Mary Jane Chaney, 92, of Zelienople passed away Wednesday at St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born March 15, 1924, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Roy L. Taylor Sr. and Catherine (Cordell) Taylor.

Jane was a former member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Mary Jane is survived by her three children, Catherine Loeffler and her husband, Donald, of Zelienople, Patricia Scanlon and her husband, John, of Canonsburg and Thomas M. “Tim” Chaney and his wife, Amy, of Wattsburg; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. “Tim” Chaney; and her brother, Roy L. Taylor Jr.

CHANEY — Friends of Mary Jane Chaney, who died Wednesday, May 25, 2016, will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
