Son faces trespassing, drug possession charges

BUTLER TWP — A Butler man was arrested Wednesday evening after he allegedly broke into his father’s home on Old Plank Road while his father was in the hospital.

Township police suspect Ronald A. Moculski, 26, went to the house about 5:45 p.m., knowing no one would be there, according to court documents.

A neighbor apparently notified authorities after recognizing Moculski and becoming suspicious. Police a short time later went to the home, where they found him.

Officers also found Moculski with suspected crack cocaine and other drug contraband.

When police contacted the alleged victim at the hospital, he told the officers that he and his son had a falling out about a month ago, and that Moculski was no longer permitted at his home, documents said.

District Judge Sue Haggerty arraigned Moculski on a felony charge of trespass and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment.
