SV graduate Smith must wait on debut
CHICAGO — Seneca Valley graduate and former Butler BlueSox catcher Kevan Smith must wait a little longer for his major league debut.
The Chicago White Sox took Smith off the disabled list over the weekend, but optioned him back to Class AAA Charlotte. Smith was to make his big league debut with the White Sox three weeks ago, but suffered back spasms during pre-game workouts that day.
