District 9 and 10 announced their high school baseball playoff pairings on Thursday. Softball brackets were also released by District 9, while those for District 10 have yet to be provided.

District 9 Baseball

Class AA — Both semifinal contests will be played at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Top-seeded Moniteau (14-3) will play Brookville (7-12) at Keystone High School's field.

Karns City (14-5) will host Cranberry (10-6) at Deal Memorial Field in Fairview Township.

Class A — A-C Valley (8-8) will travel to Port Allegany (12-5) for a 4:30 p.m. start on Tuesday.

Softball

Class AA — Karns City (9-6) will host Redbank Valley (9-7) at 4:30 p.m. Monday in Chicora. The winner will play in the semifinals at No. 1 seeded Moniteau (19-1) at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Class A — A-C Valley (10-7) faces host Smethport (11-5) at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

District 10 Baseball

Class AAA — Grove City will battle Strong Vincent at 5 p.m. Monday at Ainsworth Field in Erie. The winner will play in the quarterfinals against Slippery Rock on Thursday.
