Suspect sought for fire that destroyed truck

FORWARD TWP — A reward of up to $2,000 is offered to find the person who set a fire May 6 that destroyed a pick up truck.

State police are looking for a suspect in the 7 p.m. fire that destroyed a 2015 GMC Sierra at Stucky Road at Creek Road.

The fire was intentionally set, according to a release by state police Butler fire marshal David Jungling.

The truck owner, Zachary C. Older, 24, of Renfrew, suffered minor burns, but did not seek medical treatment.

The police are seeking to identify a vehicle seen near the scene just before the fire. It is described as mid-1990s or older, beat-up Jeep Cherokee that is possibly red or orange.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for the fire.
