3 are award finalists

Entrepreneur honors reported

PITTSBURGH — Three Butler County business people have been named finalists for the 2016 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia region.

The regional finalists for the award are Robert Bianchin of Cabot Gun Company in Sarver; Christina Cummings of Turbie Twist in Butler; and David Fenoglietto of Lutheran SeniorLife in Mars.

Bianchin is the founder and president of Cabot Guns, a custom gun manufacturer.

Cummings is the co-founder of Turbie Twist, which manufactures an absorbent hair towel.

Fenoglietto is the president and CEO of Lutheran SeniorLife, which operates numerous senior housing facilities in and around Butler County.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the awards program, which recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

The finalists were selected by a panel of independent judges. Winners will be announced at a gala on June 24 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

The awards recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities and 60 countries. The regional winners are eligible to be considered for the EY’s national award, which will be announced at a gala in Palm Springs, Calif., Nov. 19.
