2-vehicle crash sends 1 to hospital; closes Herman Road
SUMMIT TWP — A two-vehicle crash at 1:30 p.m. forced police to shut down Herman Road at its intersection with Protzman Road to allow emergency responders to extricate a person from one of the vehicles.
One driver has been taken to Butler Memorial Hospital as a precaution, after complaining of chest pains. The other driver and a passenger are being evaluated at the scene by emergency responders.
State police are not yet releasing the names of anyone involved in the crash.
