Butler Police2:11 a.m. Saturday — An unknown vandal damaged four vehicles in the 200 block of Cleveland Street. Three of the vehicles had their side mirrors damaged and two boot marks were left on the driver’s side of the fourth vehicle.One of the vehicle owners was in her home when she heard glass breaking. She went outside to investigate and saw a white male running away toward North Sixth Street. The suspect was reportedly wearing a gray, long-sleeved shirt and Timberland boots.9:15 a.m. Thursday — A South Carolina trucker did not immediately stop after his rig struck an awning at Cycle Warehouse on South Main Street. Police eventually pulled over Givionne Jordan, no age given, of Mount Pleasant, on Route 8 in Penn Township.Jordan told police that he did not know his trailer hit the awning. The officer noted that accident caused minor damage to the trailer’s passenger side, according to a police report.Police said Jordan was cited for hit-and-run.4:14 p.m. April 25 — An unidentified car, described as a dark gray sedan, possibly a Pontiac G6, struck another car that was parked on Filmore Street. The victim said he heard the crash but by the time he got outside, the suspect vehicle was already gone.

Grove City PoliceMonday — Police charged Sheryl N. Weiser, 22, of Grove City with child endangerment in connection with a call about 11:30 a.m. April 23 for an unsupervised 3-year-old walking near the Marathon Station on West Main Street. She also is charged with disorderly conduct.Monday — David M. Houk, age 24, of Volant was arrested and charged with contempt of court after allegedly violating a protection from abuse order at an apartment in the 400 block of Stewart Avenue. He is free on $15,000 unsecured bail.

State Police, ButlerFriday — Jason H. Womack, 41, of Summit Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop about 9:15 p.m. March 28 in Summit Township. Police said they pulled over Womack for speeding and repeatedly honking his car’s horn as he drove past homes in the area of Brinker Road near Summit Elementary School.While speaking to the suspect, a trooper said he smelled alcohol. The defendant admitted he had consumed beers at a friend’s house that night, according to court documents.A breath test eventually showed Womack’s blood-alcohol was 0.144 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.He is charged with driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road.
